He announced that the government will implement stricter regulations for large rice milling operations to ensure the people’s access to affordable and high-quality rice.
Prabowo warned that those who do not comply with the new regulations will have to shift their focus to other industries and refrain from interfering with the public’s basic needs. The government’s decision to require special permits for large-scale rice mills is aimed at safeguarding the people’s right to adequate and reasonably priced rice.
