Mandalika Festival of Speed 2025 series in 2025 brought sweet results for the Banteng Motorsport team. Supported by the HL Engine, the team was able to achieve the championship target in the final series of the Indonesia Touring Car Championship (ITCR) 2025 race.
During the race at the Mandalika Circuit on December 14, 2025, Banteng Motorsport fielded three main drivers, namely Hendra Widjanarko and Lucky Mardono in the Non-Seeded category, and M. Ichsan in the Seeded A category.
The final series presented its own challenges for Banteng Motorsport. There was a regulation from the promoter that gave the option of tires from 2 different brands, namely GT Radial with the SXR variant and Hankook with the RS4 variant. “This regulation posed its own challenge for us to choose which tire is suitable for the setup we are using. Not to mention Race 2 or the 6th series where we are also faced with rainy races,” said M. Ichsan, a Banteng Motorsport driver.
Closing the 2025 racing season, the Banteng Motorsport x HL Engine team achieved positive results following Hendra Widjanarko’s success in clinching the national championship title in the Non-Seeded category. “Because among the three of us, Hendra has been consistently participating from the early series of ITCR 2025 where Hendra’s points up to the previous series led to the national championship in the non-seeded category. And thank God everything went smoothly in this final series, all according to target, Hendra successfully secured the national championship in the ITCR 1200cc non-seeded category,” explained Ichsan.
