President Prabowo Subianto from Indonesia recently joined the celebration of Maulid Nabi Muhammad SAW 1447 H at Istiqlal Mosque in Jakarta. Accompanied by Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka, Defense Minister Sjafrie Sjamsoeddin, and Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya, the event revolved around the theme of “The 2025 State-Level Commemoration of the Prophet Muhammad’s Birthday: Ecotheology – The Example of Prophet Muhammad SAW for the Sustainability of the Earth and the Nation.” During the event, Minister of Religious Affairs Nasaruddin Umar delivered an insightful sermon highlighting the significance of love, compassion, and happiness, while the Imam of Istiqlal Mosque, Husni Ismail, led a prayer urging worshippers to protect nature and promote peace. The main objective of the event was to pay tribute to Prophet Muhammad SAW and encourage his followers to uphold environmental preservation based on his teachings.
