The Free Health Check in Schools program (CKG Sekolah) was officially launched on August 4, 2025, with enthusiastic participation from students in 12 schools. Fritz Edward Siregar, Deputy for Information Coordination and Communication Evaluation at the Presidential Communication Office (PCO), highlighted the importance of CKG Sekolah in nurturing Indonesia’s golden generation as part of the broader CKG program initiated in February 2025. This school-based initiative is a key component of President Prabowo Subianto’s Fast Results for the Best Outcomes agenda, aiming to enhance the overall health of the younger population. Parents were encouraged to involve their children in the health checks provided at schools, which cover various screenings such as nutritional status, blood pressure, dental examinations, and mental health assessments. This program, launched earlier in February, is a fundamental part of the transformation in Indonesia’s healthcare system, promoting preventive and promotive care. The goal is to reach 60 million beneficiaries by the end of 2025, with ongoing efforts to expand access to healthcare services to the entire Indonesian population. CKG services are available through various channels, including community health centers, schools, and digital platforms like the SATUSEHAT Mobile app. The initiative has already benefited over 15 million people, with a focus on reaching elementary to high school students across the country.
