President Prabowo Subianto recently visited former President Joko Widodo at his residence in Solo to discuss updates from his recent state visits to countries like Saudi Arabia, Brazil, Belgium, and France. During the meeting, Prabowo shared insights from his international tour, highlighting breakthroughs achieved, particularly with the European Union regarding the Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA) after a decade of negotiations. Accompanied by Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka, Prabowo arrived at Jokowi’s residence in Solo and was warmly greeted by Jokowi and First Lady Iriana. The meeting, described as friendly and informal, covered various current issues and key moments from Prabowo’s 15-day diplomatic tour, including his visit to Belarus to discuss trade opportunities. Prabowo emphasized Indonesia’s strong global position and commitment to neutrality and peaceful cooperation, highlighting the country’s reputation for not aligning with any political blocs and seeking friendship with all nations. The meeting with Jokowi also included State Secretary Minister Prasetyo Hadi, Foreign Minister Sugiono, and Deputy Minister of Communication and Digital Affairs Angga Raka Prabowo.
