Prabowo Encourages Indonesian Children in Jeddah to Excel in Studies

President Prabowo paid a visit to Saudi Arabia on July 1, where he received a warm welcome from Indonesian elementary school children in Jeddah. The children, waving both Indonesian and Saudi Arabian flags, chanted in unison, “Welcome, Mr. President!” This formal event quickly turned into a lively and heartfelt gathering as President Prabowo greeted each child individually and posed for photos with them.

Among the children was Arsad Hanfana Al-Syarabi, who confidently introduced himself as his parents work at the Indonesian Embassy. The President encouraged the children to study well, which was met with enthusiastic agreement. The interaction not only left a lasting impression on the children but also on the Indonesian community in attendance.

Hanif Hasanuddin, a representative of Muhammadiyah’s Special Branch in Jeddah, expressed his gratitude after meeting President Prabowo. Senior Indonesian officials were also present at the event, highlighting the significance of the President’s visit beyond diplomatic matters.

The visit was a moment of genuine connection between Indonesia’s leader and its citizens abroad. For Indonesian children in Saudi Arabia, the encounter was both inspiring and uplifting, reinforcing the strong bond between Indonesia and its diaspora. It was a heartwarming occasion that instilled hope and pride in all those present.
